Message from the PACCC President – Dr. Don Russell

It is a good thing to be a member of PACCC in 2011. I have found it to be a privilege to be connected with practitioners who value delivering the best in emotional, mental and spiritual care to the public.  It has been enjoyable to meet, connect and network with like-minded professionals through the association. So, with that gratitude as background I was particularly honored to be appointed President of our Association for this term. It is a role I am excited to enter and privileged to hold. It’s also a role that I take very seriously. We are at a phase in the life of the organization that will shape our collective professional futures.  As such, decisions we make now may well impact our practices for years down the road.  My hope and prayer is that the next generation of counselors will look back and find that PACCC and the leadership core of PACCC have stewarded the opportunities of today well.

I am extremely pleased to have a leadership team in the form of the Board of Directors that are a wealth of wisdom, discernment and graciousness.  I have experienced that already in my early days in this role.  I am also extremely pleased to have a sharp and wise Administrative Director in Ingrid Wildman carrying out the myriad administrative matters that require attention.
