In summer 2011, the transitional Council of the College of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists of Ontario undertook a project to develop competency profiles for future Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Mental Health Therapists. The competency profiles will underpin development of other tools and resources required by the College, including a framework for reviewing education / training programs, prior learning assessment tools and the quality assurance program, among others.
