Living the Life You Were Meant to Live
Paterson, Tom (Author) and Warren, Rick (Author)
In Living the Life You Were Meant to Live, Tom Patterson, a long-range and strategic planning consultant to America's leading corporations, shares his powerful insights with readers from all walks of life. "In order to see where you are going, you need to gain a perspective on where you have been and what you have been gifted by God to be," says Paterson. "There are times when we each need to go to the 'mountaintop' to be able to see the terrain below."
Pure Freedom: Breaking the Addiction to Pornography
Mike Cleveland (Author)
Freedom from pornography and sexual impurity can be a reality in the life of anyone who will apply biblical principles. The purpose of this book is to bring true freedom to the captive. Inspiring personal testimonies, accountability questions, Bible study, and prayer prompts are designed to bring you out of secrecy and into an open relationship with Christ, others, and yourself. This 60-day workbook is designed for either individual use with an accountability partner or in a small group setting.
Sacred Marriage
A Grief Observed
C.S. Lewis (Author)
When confirmed bachelor C. S. Lewis married Joy Davidman in 1956, it was at first a friendly marriage of convenience so that she and her sons could remain in England. By the time of her death from cancer three years later, their partnership had become one of passion, friendship and such deep love that Lewis was almost paralyzed by his loss.
In this undated journal, he documents with brief observations first the overwhelming sensations of his grief, then his rage and confusion at God. As time passes, he chronicles his return to religion and his acceptance of a new life, forever shaded by Davidman's presence but still whole. The style and writing are beautiful but clear and accessible, and the honesty of his sentiments is clear whether or not readers have found themselves in similar situations.

STATEMENT OF BELIEFS Members of PACCC are committed to the various theologies, traditions, and values of our faith communities. However, we stand united as Christians in professing the Apostles' Creed: I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen. |
